Not the things you put in the dishwasher, but when people just drop by for no apparent reason.
So I thought I would share a couple of my drop in secrets...
There is no way I can put these dishes away as well as clean up other spots........

not finished, but neater.......

Now! Before you comment on how I am the biggest slob in the world...... Remember.....
I AM CANNING...... whew, I feel better......
The important thing to remember is.... you only have a couple of minutes to straighten up.... so keep it simple...
Don't try to dust, sweep, vacuum, and rehang drapes.....
Just do what you can, simply...
Make neat stacks,
and don't mind the holes in the couch.... I am looking for new furniture...
I took everything off of this table and piled it neatly on the computer.....
It is not perfect, but it looks better than before....
and remember, we are working with a small amount of time ......
Last but not least........ my kitchen table...... where all the mail goes.......
Remember......... neat piles....... it then looks like you meant for them to be there,
even though you didn't ..........But that is our secret......shhhhhhh.
Just a little FYI, on what I do for drop ins...
but don't tell anyone that lives in this area with me....
they think I always keep my house neat!
